What We Believe
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God that came to earth in the flesh. We believe that He was born to a virgin named Mary and that He was crucified and died on the cross making atonement for our sins. We believe in a literal heaven and literal hell. We believe Jesus was buried in a tomb and was resurrected in His body and flesh through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation is never obtained through works or deeds but salvation is always through faith by the power of God and that a man must be born-again to go to heaven. We believe the bible is the absolute word of God and is the foundation, boundary and guideline for all of our spiritual life - individually and corporately.
We do not believe there is any other way of salvation, except through the grace of God by faith, believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth, the Lordship of Christ over your life. We believe that sin separates from God but that Jesus Christ has ascended to the right hand of the Father where He is always an advocate for us and making intercession on our behalf.
We believe that He is coming soon for those who are eagerly waiting on Him. We believe that believers should always be watching and praying as His return draws closer. We believe that those who worship the Lord must do so in Spirit and in Truth.
We believe that God is the supplier of all of our needs, whether earthly or spiritual, and a believer is suppose to set their affections on things above, not on temporary or earthly things - and that we should always have our eyes on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. By doing so, we will live an overflowing life in the Spirit and have fullness of joy in His presence. We believe that dying to our self-will and submitting to God's will is one of the most important disciplines in the Christian faith.
